Golfing!

We’ve had a couple of golfers move in recently so we decided to get a golfing green! The residents love it!

Even residents with memory loss still do a great job of golfing. It’s obvious that their muscle memory is still there!

6-pin bowling

Sometimes at Beehive Homes we get a little bit creative with our fun, like making a bowling set out of 2-liter bottles!

We’ve also been trying to get outside as much as we can while the weather is still a little bit warm!

2-Liter bowling is actually really fun!

Tibblefork

We enjoyed a gorgeous morning last week up American Fork canyon to see Tibblefork reservoir.

Temple to temple ride

On our last van ride we got to go to Provo and check out both temples; the Provo Temple and the Provo City Center Temple under construction. We always love our van rides, especially when we get to go to such neat places! Can’t wait to see where they will take us next time!

Beehive BBQ

We had a lot of fun at our annual end-of-summer BBQ for the residents and their families. So much fun in fact that we didn’t get very many pictures! A big thanks to the Christensen’s for the entertainment and to those who worked so hard on the delicious food! We love our residents and their families!

Hobblecreek Canyon

We had a wonderful time on our latest van ride! We went up to Hobblecreek Canyon to the golf course. It was a gorgeous day, and a beautiful drive! We had a blast listening to some of the residents favorite songs and singing along! We can’t wait to see where we’ll go next!

Speaker

A few weeks ago we had the chance to host a speaker, Mike Rowan. Mike is a stroke survivor who has gone on to live an amazing life, and he came to share his story with us! He shared a beautiful message of hope, growth, and finding joy. Thank you for coming Mike!
