Enjoying the sunshine!

We’ve had such a gorgeous fall haven’t we? We’ve been trying to get outside as much as we possibly can before the weather turns cold!

Halloween Van-Ride!

We went on a super fun van ride today to check out a fun graveyard/spooky yard. It was so cool and creepy!

Then we stopped at a duck pond by Lone Peak high school and fed some ducks! They were so excited to eat our leftover chips!

Magic Show!

A couple of weeks ago we had the chance to watch an amazing magician’s show! Theron Christensen is a very talented magician and illusionist and he put on an awesome show for the residents. They absolutely loved it!

We had so much fun with Theron and hopefully we’ll get to see him again soon!

Fall Craft

We did a quick and easy fall craft last week. The residents loved it! We took big popsicle sticks and glued them together to make simple picture frames. Then we took colorful fall leaves and stuck them on to the frames! We printed out pictures of the residents and taped them in the frames. They turned out really cute!

Golfing!

We’ve had a couple of golfers move in recently so we decided to get a golfing green! The residents love it!

Even residents with memory loss still do a great job of golfing. It’s obvious that their muscle memory is still there!

6-pin bowling

Sometimes at Beehive Homes we get a little bit creative with our fun, like making a bowling set out of 2-liter bottles!

We’ve also been trying to get outside as much as we can while the weather is still a little bit warm!

2-Liter bowling is actually really fun!

Tibblefork

We enjoyed a gorgeous morning last week up American Fork canyon to see Tibblefork reservoir.

 

We sure love our van rides!

Temple to temple ride

On our last van ride we got to go to Provo and check out both temples; the Provo Temple and the Provo City Center Temple under construction. We always love our van rides, especially when we get to go to such neat places! Can’t wait to see where they will take us next time!
