Manicures!

We love to pamper our residents at Beehive Homes. Every couple of weeks or so, we spend a day doing manicures!
We love the Sinful Colors nail polish because they are so easy to paint on, the colors are so cute, and they are fairly inexpensive!

Getting outside!

Now that the weather is so much warmer, we have been trying to get outside as much as we can!
We have so many beautiful flowers around our homes!
It's always fun spending time at our gazebo!
Jim has the greatest shirts! He's a big Duck Dynasty fan.
Love this view!

Beehive Garden!

The Beehive Home in Provo is putting in a garden!
We are excited to get outside and work on our own garden.

Happy Memorial Day!

Happy Memorial Day from all of us as Beehive Homes! Today to remember our loved ones who have passed away, and to honor those in the military, we wrote messages on white balloons and released the balloons to heaven. Memories and stories were shared and traded as we remembered those we love.

Happy Mother’s Day!

We at Beehive Homes hope that you all had a wonderful Mother's Day! A couple of days ago to celebrate mothers, we decorated some very delicious cupcakes.

They may not have turned out too beautiful, but they were very yummy!

We hope that you were able to spend Mother’s Day honoring your wonderful mothers and grandmothers!

'Modified Yahtzee'

We love to play a modified version of Yahtzee! We take 4 dice, and each person has 3 tries to get as many points as they can. So the best combination of dice is 4 sixes, which gives you 24 points.
At one point, Jim rolled 4 sixes all at the same time!

Soon afterwards, Amberly rolled all ones--the worst possible thing you can get!
'Modified Yahtzee' is always a great time!

Beautiful Sundance

Last week the Orem homes went on a lovely van ride up Provo Canyon. The weather was still a little cool, but it was very nice. We made a quick stop at Bridal Veil Falls, and then headed up to Sundance. They were doing a lot of construction, but we off-roaded up as far as we could and saw a spectacular view!

We love our bimonthly van rides! We are looking forward to a trip to Deer Creek soon.

Meet Your New Activities Director!

We have a new Activities Director at Beehive Homes of Orem and Provo. Meet Amberly Stevens!
Amberly was born in Provo, Utah and grew up in Pleasant Grove. She recently graduated from BYU with a degree in Human Development. She met her husband, Kevin, two years ago in a BYU singles ward. They got married in December of 2012. Amberly enjoys reading, crocheting, running, hiking and musicals.

Amberly started doing activities with us at the end of April and has enjoyed getting to know the residents. She looks forward to getting to know everyone better. Welcome to Beehive Homes Amberly!
